Friends of Ledger,
I didn’t have “a conversation about Blockchain-based art in the Palace of Westminster” on my bingo card this year, did you? Ledger’s Global Head of Public Policy Seth Hertlein was in London this week to deliver a speech and unveil a report from INSEAD and DCGG recommending how Parliament should think about NFTs. In addition, Ledger and
Bright Moments displayed Blockchain-based art and the stories of the artists who created these works. A number of UK MPs and Lords minted their first POAP NFT at this event! From Seth’s speech:
“A picture is worth a thousand words, which is why we do the work to bring NFT exhibitions into parliaments, first in Strasbourg and now in London. Our goal is to make sure as many MPs as possible have experienced NFTs firsthand before deciding whether or how to regulate them.”
